How the paid call works

• 1 — GET /api with no payment → HTTP 402 with the offer: amount, asset (USDC, eip155:8453), payTo, scheme exact.
• 2 — the client signs the payment and repeats the call with the payment signature header.
• 3 — the door verifies the payment through the facilitator. On an order intent it runs the gate and creates the intent first and settles only on allow: a deny answers HTTP 403 with its reason code and the rule-set version and is not charged. On a resolve it settles and answers the metered resolve.
• 4 — the signed receipt: order-intent receipts carry decision_id and reason_code; every receipt carries the notice.
• 5 — GET /x402/receipt/{nonce} resolves the receipt, forever; GET /x402/settled.json is this zone's register.
